Schools (almost) Out

The end of school is fast approaching. It's a difficult time both the students and teachers. One reason it is difficult is because everyone is impatient for the end, so brains may not be as focused as they normally might be. Another reason it is difficult is because, as teachers we often see no change for the better in our students. In some cases perhaps, it is just not God's timing for them to change. I have found Christian schools to be a very difficult place to serve at times. On one hand you expect more of the students because it is a Christian school. On the other hand, how can you expect more from students who have difficult home lives, and though they claim Christ, may not truly be saved? As teachers we cannot expect unsaved students to act in any way other than unsaved. It's not just the Christian school I'm in. It was this way when I was growing up in our Christian school, and no doubt it's like this in most Christian schools. What is the solution to the problems in Christian education? I don't think the solution is to not have Christian schools.
