There are many people out there still following the beliefs of evolutionists basically because that's all they know. Have they really thought about what they believe? I believe the Bible's account of creation that God created a mature creation in 6 days, and on the 7th day He rested. It takes faith to believe this, but if we look around, wouldn't it take more faith to think that it just happened one day by chance? Let me give you a cooking analogy:
Baking Bread-
When you bake bread, it has to be done in an orderly fashion. You can't just throw the water in, followed by the melted butter. You can't do this, and expect it to work if you add the yeast on that warm butter followed by the rest of the ingredients. Doing this, will simply kill the yeast. You'll have flat dense bread, if something that even resembles bread!
The same is true for the order that we see in creation. It could not be by chance. Everything has a purpose. On our honeymoon in July 2008, we encountered many interesting aspects of creation in the world around us, but one that has stayed with me is how God plans the habitats of animals. If you've ever seen a moose or even a picture of one, you know that they are tall and lanky. They have long legs with knobby knees. And they have large bodies. Because of their build, they sometimes get arthritis. Knowing this would be the case, God supplied these moose with the knowledge that willow tree bark would alleviate their suffering. Some people may even take a supplement containing this because it acts like an asprin. Another amazing aspect of the moose that I learned was that they are divers. They live by a swamp, and they dive down into the water for their food. Well, it just so happens that there is a certain type of bird that lives near the swamp as well and feeds on the substance that comes to the surface when the moose dives in. This could not have just happened just like my ingredients would not be bread if it is thrown together into a pan without the order needed to create the chemical reaction in dough that will eventually become bread. So if you're having trouble trusting God's Word, look at the order in creation. As you look at it's intricate design, you will not be able to help but go to God's Word and see that it could only have been made but a divine God.
